No-Bake Chocolate Lasagna
A No-Bake Chocolate Lasagna with layers of chocolate pudding and cream over an Oreo crust was a major hit with my crew!
Semi-Homemade Chocolate Desserts are perfect for the summer! What a fabulous way to cool off on a hot summer’s day! At least that’s my rationale for having a second slice!
Why You Should Make this Dessert Lasagna
My boys both went to the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500 on Sunday and were wiped out from the festivities. It wasn’t until Monday before we gathered as a family, and I needed a spectacular dessert. It was a sultry weekend with temps more representative of August than May.
- A cool, no-bake dessert is perfect on a hot day.
- Using a pudding mix is an easy shortcut!
- A three layer dessert is sure to impress!!!
How to Make a Chocolate Lasagna Recipe
Danielle’s recipe calls for Cool Whip which, unfortunately, leaves me with a headache after indulging. Plus, my doctored up whipped cream is much tastier and a fine replacement. I’d love to make this with homemade chocolate pudding, too, but the instant sure is convenient. As I predicted, the whole darn family declared this No-Bake Chocolate Dessert a winner!
- Make the crust, press onto the bottom of the pan, and chill.
- Make the cream cheese and whipped cream layer. PRO-Tip: Make sure the cream cheese is at room temperature for easier incorporation.
- Spread half of the whipped cream layer over the crust.
- Make the instant pudding with cold milk. After it thickens slightly pour over the whipped cream layer. Chill for 5-10 minutes.
- Carefully spread the rest of the cream cheese mixture over the pudding. I place a lot of small dollops across the surface and use an offset spatula to spread.
- Garnish with mini chocolate chips.
- Chill several hours or overnight before serving.

Hi, S! Thanks for your comment. The only error I found was a misspelling. Please let me know if there was something else missing as the recipe seems OK! Thank you!!! Hope you enjoyed.
