Peach Crisp in Jars
This Peach Crisp in Jars provides all the amazing tastes of a classic peach crisp served in canning jars for a fun presentation!
Peach Crisp in Jars
This week the Sunday Supper gang is sharing recipes inspired by the Desserts In Jars cookbook by Shaina Olmanson. I’ve only made a few desserts using this method…and I was delighted for an excuse to try out some cute Weck jars I purchased this past winter. Peach crisp is one of my go-to summer desserts…and making individual servings in glass containers turns this homey dish into a company worthy grand finale.
In fact, Bill was out to eat with a couple of his buddies…when he sheepishly called asking if he could bring the fellows by for dessert. I had just unpacked some new dishes…and boxes and papers were strewn across the kitchen floors. Great timing. But I quickly tidied up and greeted the sugar starved guests with these Peach Crisp in Jars….who licked their plates, er…jars…clean.

I love any dessert in a jar- this peach crisp looks great. I would some a pie parfait, we have a dessert shop here who makes pie mousses and layer them with crusts, and it is amazing.

I’d love to make the Red Velvet Wedding Cake In A Jar!
These little individual servings of treats are perfect for the summer. Just bought a flat of peaches so this crisp is a distinct possibility. They look delicious!
I have never cooked in a jar and actually, it does not look difficult but it looks great. I have to buy some jars and try this. Peaches always talk to me.
As much as I adore this dessert (I do!), I’m kind of obsessed with the background “props” in your photo. That ice cream bowl! And is that a big fleur-de-lys?
What a cool way to serve a crisp… love the jars. ๐ I have never tried peach crisp… but that shall be remedied soon. ๐
Jars or ramekins, the peaches now on the market are screaming to be made into crisps, crumbles and cobblers! Yours look scrumptious!
