This is the first recipe I ever used for brisket…and I have no need to find another. Yes, it’s just that delicious. Perfect for a cold winter’s meal…the epitome of comfort food. Serve over mashed potatoes or noodles…you will love it!

This looks great. Can’t wait to try it. I have been using the horseradish rub from Food & Wine which is pretty amazing, but I’m open to trying something new. Thanks for sharing! I love salting fingerling potatoes and roasting them alongside of the brisket ๐
Thanks, Kate…it’s hard to trump that pot roast!!!
Thanks, Annie and Lizzie~hope you get a chance to try this one ๐
This looks great and I just bought a brisket. Thanks for this!
Lizzy-We all love brisket, and I’ve never made it with coffee. Would love to give it a try. Sound tempting and delicious!
Yes, Carole…that’s exactly what I use.
Thanks, Susi, Lindsay and Sommer! I don’t even notice the coffee, but it does add another layer of flavor to a delicious dish~
Tea drinker’s question–do you think this would work w/ instant coffee? I never have regular coffee in the house.
Looks delicious!! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you, both! I hope you get a change to try this comforting entree ๐
Wow, does this sound good and easy! I’ve never made brisket but have been needing a reason to bust out the dutch oven. My husband would be all over this, he loves brisket.
I heard a lot about coffee in cooking lately and I’m so curious to try. It looks delicious.
Aw, thanks, everyone, for such kind words!!! I appreciate you stopping by~~

Lovely Brisket nice job!
That looks so good. I haven’t cooked anything with coffee as I don’t drink it but will have to try this.
mmm, it looks delicious! First time when I tried coffee glazed veal I was soo skeptical; garlic convinced to do it :). It’s a great dish!
I’ve never tried brisket and it seems fitting that when I do, I should try it with an unusual recipe like this! Thanks for sharing.
Looks pretty tasty! And I like your green bean bundles!
Wow! My oldest son is a lover of all things beef and crazed for coffee…I have to show him this ๐
Ah, looks so good! I love the flavors in this dish! My mouth is watering ๐
Have a beautiful weekend!

what a delicious seasoning for the brisket, I have never used coffee but I can just imagine how it flowed together with the other flavors building such a symphony of taste!
hope your weekend is going well

Thanks, Kim and Brandie! Hope you get a chance to try this ๐
I’m glad you posted this recipe because I have been looking for a new way to make brisket. I tried a recipe a few weeks ago that totally bombed. The brisket turned out tender but the marinade was so tangy that it just ruined it for us. This sounds like it will turn out nicely!!
