When I started this journey in the spring, my goal was to have a place to share my  favorite recipes with friends and family….but it gave me so much more. Food blogging opened a whole new world of friends, recipes and support. Scroll down to see  my New Year’s Recap with Top 5 Posts of 2010.

First Year of Blogging

My husband tells the story of walking our very slow dog, Lambeau (yes, she’s an avid Green Bay Packer fan), through the neighborhood one summer afternoon. When a neighbor passed him saying, “I love your wife’s blog,” he had to come home and ask, “what’s a blog?”  This man has been trying to get through life without getting sucked into any kind of technology…I’m not sure he’s mastered the TV remote, but he does do a cursory check of his e-mail every week or so!  I questioned whether he’d noticed I’d been taking photos of the food I baked…he shrugged and attributed that to my general quirkiness. But he’s been my biggest fan.

Besides my wonderful family, I am ever so grateful for all the new friends I’ve made in this fabulous world of food blogging, as well as you who have known me for years and continue to offer kindness and support. I am so lucky to know you all. You have been generous with your suggestions and compliments…thank you and wishing you many blessings in 2011!!!
