I’ll also share my 3 Top Recipes of all times which generally remain the same year after year, but are worth highlighting!
Most Popular Recipes of 2018
The following ten recipes are those that I shared in 2018 and were visited more than any other posts. For more details and the recipes, click on the links above the photos.
#1 Mocha Chocolate Chip Cookie Icebox Cake
This no-bake dessert garners rave reviews across the board! Cookies, whipped cream, mascarpone cream and a touch of coffee will have you swooning, too!
#2 Instant Pot Beef Short Ribs
We spent a good deal of the year without a kitchen, but even knowing that, I find it pretty funny that my second most popular recipe of 2018 is a savory, instant pot recipe. These short ribs were fabulous, both tender and flavorful!
#3 Authentic Tres Leches Cake
This 3-Milks Cake is one of my daughter’s favorites and I tweaked an old post to make the best version ever! The tender cake is soaked with a combination of milks then frosted with whipped cream!
#4 Strawberry Angel Food Dessert
With the remodel in full swing this summer, I turned to another no-bake recipe for our sweet tooth fix! This Strawberry Angel Food Dessert is made with store bought angel food cake, whipped cream, berries plus some strawberry jello for structure. It would wonderful for Valentine’s Day, too!
#5 Fresh Raspberry Crisp
Fruit crisps are always popular with my crew and so much easier than making a pie! I don’t know why it took me so long to make a raspberry crisp, but it will become a summer tradition. I like mine with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
#6 How to Make Rosettes Cookies
These crispy fried cookies were a Christmas tradition when I was growing up. I finally updated an ancient post and treated my friends and family to these Scandinavian sweets!
#7 Vanilla Bean Instant Pot Cheesecake
This cheesecake was my first attempt at a dessert in my Instant Pot and it was the creamiest cheesecake I’ve ever tasted! And thankfully, it makes a small 6-inch dessert or else my skinny chick status may have been threatened!
#8 Southern Peach Bread
I had loads of fresh southern peaches from the “Peach Truck,” and baked up a storm. It took a couple attempts to get this recipe perfect, but this peach bread was dense, yet tender and full of luscious bits of fresh peaches!
#9 Easy S’mores Dessert Dip
This super easy S’mores Dip was a breeze to whip up, and is perfect for any occasion! Great for an after school indulgence or a fun interactive dessert!

This past year just goes to show that if you are a good cook (and that you are) you can create delicious food even when you don’t have a real functioning kitchen. All the best in this coming year and I’m looking forward to more delicious creations.
