My friend, Suzanne, uses the recipe on the back of Ghirardelli’s Sweet Ground Chocolate as her go to brownies. Nick was having a couple friends over, so I needed to whip up something for dessert. These came together quickly and got rave reviews from the boys.
Chocolate Brownies…adapted from Ghirardelli
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup butter, melted
3/4 cup Ghirardelli Ground Chocolate
2/3 cups flour
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
Preheat oven to 350º. Grease 8 x 8 inch baking pan.
In a medium mixing bowl, stir together eggs, sugar and vanilla. Add melted butter. Sift ground chocolate, flour, baking powder and salt into bowl and stir till blended.
Spread into pan and bake about 20 minutes.
