Brownie Batter Dip
You will lick the bowl of this Easy Brownie Batter Dip spankin’ clean; it’s truly a phenomenal treat that takes only minutes to create. Perfect for any gathering….and everyone will beg for your recipe!
Easy Brownie Batter Dip
I first made a scrumptious Cookie Dough Dip a few years ago. I packed it up in a cooler and brought it on a road trip with some couples from our neighborhood. They went hog wild over it. And, as a cookie dough lover, I was thrilled that it was egg-free and extremely swoon-worthy.
I’ve been meaning to taste test a chocolate version, so grabbed a box of brownie mix to make a super easy chocolate dessert dip. Mixed with cream cheese, butter, my homemade mascarpone cheese (you may certainly use store-bought or even Greek yogurt or sour cream) plus a few more ingredients created a magnificent indulgence!
Pop a few candies on top of this brownie dessert dip to make a seasonal treat perfect for any of your upcoming holiday parties. Or use your team colors to make a fun, interactive game day treat! I shake up these Patriotic Brownie Cookies with different colored M & Ms depending on the holiday.
Tips for Making a Chocolate Dessert Dip
- Use your favorite box of brownie mix. Since you only need one cup, place the leftovers in a sealed bag and store in the freezer for your next batch.
- This is easily made gluten-free by using a gluten-free brand of brownie mix.
- Garnish with your favorite candies like toffee bits, chocolate chip or any chopped candy bars.
- If it’s hard to find mascarpone cheese in your area, feel free to use Greek yogurt or sour cream instead.
- By swapping out these holiday-colored M&Ms, you can use this dip for game day with team colors, or pastel candies for Easter. It’s the perfect treat for any occasion!

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been tempted to eat this with only a spoon, and in the closet by myself!
This looks fabulous!! I know it’s a dip but I can see myself spreading this on everything in sight!!
What a terrific dip especially for my chocoholics here! Can’t wait to try this!
My daughter and I had so much fun making this dip together! It was the perfect yummy treat for movie night!
How can I make the brownie batter dip into brownies? I would really like to try it. Do I just add eggs, oil and water, then bake? I’m just really curious. Thank you!
Hi, Julie,
I’m afraid with the addition of cream cheese and mascarpone cheese, you’d need to add eggs and more dry ingredients. Since baking is a science, I’m afraid it would take a lot of experimentation to get it right. Wish I could be of more help. I have loads of brownie recipe if you want to go that route instead. My one-bowl fudgy brownies (https://www.thatskinnychickcanbake.com/one-bowl-fudgy-brownies/) are easy and taste terrific!
I love their cornbread!!
Def. would try the brownies first!
I want to try the Double Chocolate Brownie Mix! That sounds amazing!
It would be hard to pass up those double chocolate brownies so that would be the first thing I would try.
My brother-in-law would be SO appreciative of any of these mixes, as long as they do not also have dairy or soy. His life is pretty restricted, living as the only gluten-free chap in a family of bread lovers.
The brownie mix for sure.
I would love to try the cornbread
I love the Blueberry Muffin mix. It is so moist and flavorful!

Brownies! I love brownies!
I do love me some brownie batter. I have been so good about not sampling my baking doughs and mixtures due to the raw eggs. It would be good to treat myself to some of this mixture. I am sure it would disappear quickly.
All that and diet too?!?!?! Oh wait… This sounds great Liz, no doubt everyone loved it:@)
I love it. I am going to make this when my daughter’s friends come over to watch “Once Upon A Time.” It looks very festive and delicious:). Thanks for sharing. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.
