Migrating to WordPress Today plus Mixed Recap~

by Liz Berg on December 8, 2012

Today my migration to WordPress will be completed. There may be some hiccups along the way, so my fingers are crossed, my toes are crossed, everything is crossed! You should be automatically directed to my new site, but things happen…so bookmark, subscribe, and hopefully all will go as planned.

Thanks so much for all your support, kindness, and visits!!!

Here are a few photos from my recent food bloggers conference, Mixed, hosted by Paula of Bellalimento and Susan of Doughmesstic. We had sessions in Food Photography (Baked Bree), Food Styling (Running with Tweezers), Videography (Chez Us), Ebooks (Foodie Crush), Cookie Decorating (Sweetopia) and Cake Art (Duff of Ace of Cakes). We had a cookie contest, a mac and cheese contest, drawings for tremendous prizes (I won a doozy!!!!), and so much more… I brought a camera without a memory card (oops), so my photos were all taken with my iphone…

Above is the swag from Mixed (my first food blogger conference) PLUS I won
a Professional KitchenAid Mixer worth $700 (score!!!)

Our AMAZING sponsors included KitchenAid, OXO, Hershey, Dixie Crystals,
Bold with Butter, LeCrueset, Wisconsin Cheese…and so many more…

We stayed at the Mountain Lake Resort near Pembroke, Virginia, where
the movie Dirty Dancing was filmed…

A few of us got a small group cake decorating session with Duff,
of Ace of Cakes, a Food Network show

I met THE nicest blogger friends in person, including:

The gorgeous Virginia countryside~

See you all on WordPress!!! xo

Congratulations Liz, I hope you will enjoy wordpress, it was the one I started with and really like it. So intuitive and easy to use. Congrats on your winnings too I hope you bought a lotto ticket that day so your good luck rubs off on it too!

Lizzy,
So great that you won the KA mixer. I haven’t seen any issues with your new site. Everything looks wonderful.

Glad you enjoyed the conference Liz! Wish they had things like that here :( . Nice one with the mixer and swag too, hehe! I’d always thought you were with WordPress all along… what was your previous platform?
