Lovely Jen, of Love Food Cook Food, tagged me in a blogger game to help readers learn a bit more their blogger friends. Please pop over to her wonderful site and find out all about her! I’m down in Sea Island, Georgia, for spring break, so I’ll check in with you all upon my return. Till then, here is some fascinating Skinny Chick trivia….hahahaha. I hope you’ll check back in a couple days for my French Fridays with Dorie post~
The Rules:
1. You must post the rules.
1. You must post the rules.

12 Things You Didn’t Know About Me:
- I like white chocolate more than dark chocolate.
- I like cookie dough better than cookies.
- In my former life, I worked as a hem-onc nurse…on the liquid tumor ward…our patient population had lymphoma, leukemia, multiple myeloma, etc.
- I have two sons and one daughter…my youngest will be college bound in the fall…sniff, sniff. My oldest has a masters in Biology and a Pharmceutical Science undergrad degree. Miss Katie (AKA Queen of the House) has cerebral palsy and works at a pet grooming/boarding business doing small animal care…playing with pups and kitties.
- My hubby fixes hearts…and loves what he does.
- My dad is a physicist…and that was my only B on my high school report card! My mom taught college level calligraphy and was a talented organist/pianist in her prime.
- I have 3 younger sisters…two are extremely artistic and the other is more math and science oriented like me.
- Our beloved yellow lab is named after the Green Bay packer player and coach, Curly Lambeau.
- I have told the kids that Lambeau’s middle name is “Field,” but they just won’t accept that!
- I am avid reader, although blogging is eating into this pastime. I’ve been in the same book club for 15+ years. Here is a link to the books we’ve read.
- I burn off my calories doing hot yoga and running on the treadmill.
- My husband says I never met a dollar I couldn’t spend. (This is what I get when I ask my family for suggestions!).
- He also says that 90% of my weight is in my right foot (I may need to reconsider input from outside sources!).
- I drink hot tea now; but coffee got me through college.
Questions from Jen:
- What’s your most used kitchen gadget? My Sankotu knife (Is a knife a gadget?)
- Which ingredient could you not live without? Butter
- What dish means Christmas to you? English toffee
- If you could choose a cake for your birthday, which kind would you choose? Ina’s coconut cupcakes
- If you were stuck in the desert how would you survive? By praying to be rescued ASAP!
- What’s the meanest trick you’ve ever pulled? I can’t think of one, but my hubby sent me a fake invoice for a cow sign with spotlights that was to be put in our yard on my birthday!
- Who would you most like to cook for? My mom (she has Alzheimer’s and would have loved my blog)
- Milk or Plain chocolate, which do you prefer? Milk
- What would you cook for you favourite person? The dessert of their choice
- What’s your favourite pet? The one and only Lambeau, our yellow lab
- Would you walk 500 miles to see the one you love? Of course~
- What was your favourite childhood food? My mom’s mounds bars..graham cracker crust, coconut/sweetened condensed milk center, semisweet chocolate topping (I search the house each time I visit for this recipe!)
Anyone who has read this far is officially tagged! My questions for you are:
- White bread or whole wheat?
- Do you stuff your turkey? Or bake your dressing separately?
- Pie, crisp or cobbler?
- Martha Stewart or Ina Garten?
- Lard, butter or shortening in your pie crust?
- Who is your biggest inspiration in the kitchen?
- Nuts or no nuts in your chocolate chip cookies?
- Chocolate or vanilla ice cream?
- Do like thunderstorms?
- How many pets do you have?
- What’s your favorite Beatles’ song?
- If you could choose to live anywhere, where would it be?

I’m not sure we see eye to eye with chocolate preference. White chocolate is too sweet!
Wow, that sounds so odd coming from me, complaining about something being too sweet. ._.
