I’m starting a new feature to showcase some of my favorite finds for cooking, baking and entertaining. My dear friend, Shelli, shared some of this phenomenal Dish D’Lish French Seasoning Salt with me for my blog anniversary. When my sisters were visiting, we put what we quickly dubbed “crack salt” on absolutely everything. I have no idea what is in it, but trust me, it’s fabulous…perfect sprinkled on potatoes, eggs, fish, veggies…probably oatmeal for all I know…well, maybe not.
This incredible salt is the creation of Kathy Casey, renowned Seattle based celebrity chef. You can purchase this salt and read more about Kathy on her website. Knowing it could be found in my sister Mary’s hometown, I asked her to bring a couple more jars when she came to visit. But be forewarned if you purchase this at the Seattle airport and then hop a flight…it triggered a search of my sister’s luggage…requiring a swab down of my salt! I have a feeling she picked up a jar for herself when she landed at Sea-Tac. This stuff is addicting!

I’ve never heard of this before but I’m certainly very curious about it now. Love the blue jar!
Great sell! I’ll keep my eyes peeled for some
My husband goes to Seattle for business – I am sending this info to him!
Hi Lizzy, Thanks for the comment on Brandie’s blog yesterday when I was a guest blogger. I check your site often and always check out your posts on facebook. This seasoning salt looks great. I will look for it, too. Enjoyed visiting with you this morning! Judy
I keep hearing about all these fancy salts but haven’t tried any. Intriguing.

Sounds great! I’ll keep my eyes open for it!
How cool, Lizzy. I was just telling my husband last night that I seemed to be one of the only bloggers who recommend their favortie products! I love it – looking forward to more posts.
BTW, I left the Daring Bakers & joind a group called “Baked Sunday Mornings” which seems to align much more with my style of baking.
sounds good haven’t seen this before thank you for sharing
I totally want to try this! Looking forward to seeing you’re other favorite things!
Oooh, fancy salt is so in these days
Would love to try out this “crack” salt! Looking forward to more of your favorite things. We should get all Sound of Music themed, haha.
I have two of her cookbooks and think she is just terrific! I must order this salt – it looks just delish!
“Crack salt.” Love it!
I enjoy learning about new cooking and baking finds, so I will love this new feature.
