My friend and fellow baker, Missy, reminded me of this super easy, super rich and moist chocolate cake. I’ve gotten requests for the recipe whenever I’ve baked it. I’ve made it for many teacher luncheons and pitch ins…although I typically bake from scratch, this doctored up cake mix recipe tastes like you spent hours in the kitchen.
Betty Crocker Chocolate Fudge cake mix (with pudding in the mix)
2 eggs
1/2 c Kahlua
1/4 c vegetable oil
1 pt sour cream
12 oz chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350ยบ.
Beat together all ingredients except chocolate chips. Add chocolate chips when batter is smooth. Pour into well greased and floured Bundt pan. Bake 40-50 minutes.
Cool about 10 minutes and turn out onto cake plate. Sprinkle with powdered sugar when cool.

This sounds heavenly, Liz. Thank you for posting!
You’ll love it, Regina!
Another one to try! I don’t know if I should thank you or not, lol.
LOL, Patti…I’m feeling a little thick around the waist after this baking marathon myself!!! Time to start giving away
OMG, Lizzy! I made this for dinner last night & it’s already gone! My sister-in-law couldn’t believe it was from a mix. It’s a perfect, easy dessert to make for company. I can’t wait to make it again!
Isn’t this good? My kids still request this one for birthdays…and it’s so easy. I always get asked for the recipe…it’s one of the few recipes using cake mix that I can really recommend! I’m so glad you enjoyed it
